Mean absolute errors on the radius index r (top), density index f (middle) and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) volume fraction νcsf (bottom) as a function of signal-to-noise ratio for various levels of CSF contamination. The MMWMD approach yielded generally larger errors. Assuming incorrect T2 values in the model did not affect the estimation of r and f in the the first two scenarios described in Table 1.
