Effect of oral OA on serum biochemistry. Mice were gavaged OA at doses of 100-3,000 µmol/kg (equal to 45-1350 mg/kg), once daily for 10 days. Twenty-four hours after the last dose, blood was collected to determine changes in serum activities of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and the concentration of total bilirubin as detailed in Methods.
