Classes I-III refer to arterial thrombosis in vivo, systemic thromboembolism, and thrombus formation in vitro, respectively; class IV refers to tail-bleeding times. In all cases, scoring was at 5-point scale. Studies using mice with noncomparable genetics (eg, gain-of-function mutations) were not included.
