In the Original Investigation titled “Incidence of and Risk Factors for Developing Idiopathic Macular Hole Among a Diverse Group of Patients Throughout the United States,” published February 16, 2017, in JAMA Ophthalmology,1 3 errors appeared in the Abstract, Author Affiliations, and text, and typographical errors occurred in a table and throughout the text; all have been corrected. Specifically, in the Results portion of the Abstract, the total number of enrollees listed in the first sentence should have appeared as 659 357. In the Author Affiliations, Dr Ali’s only affiliation should have been given as “Department of Ophthalmology, University of California, San Francisco.” In the Ocular Comorbidities subsection of the Results section, the P value at the end of the first sentence should have appeared as P = .004. This article was corrected online.
