Drug-sensitive (A) and resistant (B) PDAC cell lines were treated with DMSO or DST (10 nmol/L) for 12 h and analyzed by immunofluorescence with indicated antibodies. Fluorescent intensity of E-cadherin and β-catenin were quantified for each cell line in response to DST treatment. (C) To determine the effects of DST on inhibiting pro-metastatic properties in PDAC cells, drug-sensitive BxPC3 and resistant PANC1 cells were treated with DST (100 nmol/L) or equal volume of DMSO (control), subjected to matrigel invasion assay and quantified as area of invaded cells after 24 hours. ****p<0.0001, ns not significant.
