Li H, Lee J, He C, Zou M-H, Xie Z. Suppression of the mTORC1/STAT3/Notch1 pathway by activated AMPK prevents hepatic insulin resistance induced by excess amino acids. Am J Physiol Endocrinol Metab 306: E197–E209, 2014: doi: https://doi.org10.1152/ajpendo.00202.2013.

We have recently become aware that during the assembly of Figures 1K and 6H of this paper, incorrect phosphorylated insulin receptor substrate-1 (p-IRS1)-Tyr612 immunoblots were inadvertently included. Because the original raw data could not be located, we have repeated the experiments in Figs. 1K and 6H under the same experimental conditions. Corrected immunoblots of p-IRS1-Tyr612 from the replicate experiment are shown below.

Fig. 1.

Fig. 1

Corrected p-IRS1 blot for Figure 1K.

Fig. 2

Corrected p-IRS1 blot for Figure 6H.

Our oversights did not influence the conclusions of the paper in any way. We are sincerely sorry for the mistake in the original publication and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that it might have caused our colleagues and readers.
