In the Original Investigation titled “Assessment of Deep Generative Models for High-Resolution Synthetic Retinal Image Generation of Age-Related Macular Degeneration,”1 published online January 10, 2019, there were numerical errors in Table 2 and in the corresponding text in the Results section. There were reference citation errors in the Image Synthesis Method and Deep Learning Experiments subsections of the Methods section and in the first and fifth paragraphs of the Discussion section. In the last sentence of the Gradability of Real and Synthetic Images subsection of the Methods section, “involving DL machines” was deleted. In the Discrimination Between Real and Synthetic Images by Retinal Specialists subsection of the Methods section, the question was changed to “Is the image synthetic?” (“Real or” was removed.) In the Statistical Analysis section, “evaluation for experiments 1 and 4 was done by comparing retinal specialist and DL algorithm performance” (“and DL algorithm” was added). The quotation mark at the end of the Limitations section was deleted. The supplement was also corrected. This article was corrected online.
