This review has been withdrawn as it will not be updated.

It is currently being split and will be updated in a series of separate reviews with different authors.

The full review 'Exercise for treating anterior cruciate ligament injuries in adults' was published in Issue 4, 2005. The protocol for 'Exercise for treating meniscal injuries of the knee in adults' was published in Issue 3, 2005 and for 'Exercise for treating anterior cruciate ligament injuries in combination with collateral ligament and meniscal damage of the knee in adults' in Issue 2, 2006. One further title has been registered: 'Exercise for treating isolated collateral ligament injuries of the knee in adults'.

The scope of these is not restricted to programmes undertaken by physiotherapists.

The editorial group responsible for this previously published document have withdrawn it from publication.
