CELL BIOLOGY. For the article “A uniform extracellular stimulus triggers distinct cAMP signals in different compartments of a simple cell,” by Thomas C. Rich, Kent A. Fagan, Tonia E. Tse, Jerome Schaack, Dermot M. F. Cooper, and Jeffrey W. Karpen, which appeared in number 23, November 6, 2001, of Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA (98, 13049–13054; First Published October 16, 2001; 10.1073/pnas.221381398), the authors note the following printer's errors. On page 13050, in the first full paragraph, line 15, 100 ± 40Ω should read 100 ± 40 MΩ. The last sentence of the same paragraph should read “In whole-cell experiments, 5 mM K2ATP and 0.1 mM Na2GTP were added to the pipette solution, and nystatin was not included.”
