Erratum for Benson et al., Differential Effects of Monocular Deprivation on Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase and Type II Calcium-Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase Gene Expression in the Adult Monkey Visual Cortex

PMCID: PMC6575306

In the article entitled “Differential Effects of Monocular Deprivation on Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase and Type II Calcium-Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase Gene Expression in the Adult Monkey Visual Cortex” by Benson et al. (The Journal of Neuroscience 11(1):31–47), the sentences commmencing on page 45, line 27 should read as follows: The GAD gene studied in this paper corresponds to the 67-kDa protein, and one of the polyclonal antisera used in our earlier studies to demonstrate the decrease in GAD immunoreactivity that accompanies monocular deprivation, preferentially binds this larger GAD protein. Because of this, it is unlikely that changes in the remaining 65-kDa protein would be solely responsible for the decrease in GAD immunoreactivity.
