In the article titled “Association of Depression and Anxiety Disorders With Autoimmune Thyroiditis: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis,”1 published online May 2, 2018, and in the June 2018 issue of JAMA Psychiatry, a large epidemiologic study was inadvertently omitted from the meta-analysis. All analyses were recalculated after adding data from this study, and the findings were not significantly affected.2 The odds ratio for the association of AIT with depression decreased from the originally reported 3.56 (95% CI, 2.14-5.94; I2 = 92.1%) to 3.31 (95% CI, 2.00-5.48; I2 = 92.6%). The addition of the study nonsignificantly changed findings of meta-regression analyses for study quality (original: β = −0.029; 95% CI, −0.499 to 0.440; P = .90; corrected: β = −0.051; 95% CI, −0.525 to 0.422; P = .83), proportion of female patients (original: β = 1.630; 95% CI, −3.040 to 6.300; P = .52; corrected: β = 2.647; 95% CI, −1.119 to 6.413; P = .17), and mean age (original: β = −0.097; 95% CI, −0.163 to −0.031; P = .004; corrected: β = −0.103; 95% CI, −0.165 to −0.042; P = .001). The PRISMA flow diagram was updated, data from the study were added to Figure 2, and further discussion about the added study was added to the Strengths and Limitations section of the Discussion section.1 Additionally, the number of participants were incorrectly reported for 2 studies in Figures 2 and 3.1 Importantly, none of the study’s conclusions were affected. This article was corrected online.
