PMCID: PMC6595508  PMID: 31242007

Rebecca Fuhrer, PhD, and Katherine M. Keyes, PhD, served as Guest Editors for the supplement issue: “AJPH Population Mental Health in the 21st Century.” They independently and blindly selected among the submitted abstracts those that fit the goals of the Call for Abstracts, and jointly determined which abstracts would be invited for full manuscript submission. They oversaw the peer reviewer selection, evaluated the peer reviews, and drafted feedback and comments to authors in their recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief. They selected and invited the editorial, counterpoint, and commentary authors to contribute to the special issue, which were subject to either the internal or external peer review process. The article by Keyes et al. was handled by the regular AJPH process. They jointly wrote the lead Editorials and the Editor's Choice.
