Correction: Scheff and Gold, “Trafficking of Na+/Ca²⁺ exchanger to the site of persistent inflammation in nociceptive afferents”

In the article “Trafficking of Na⁺/Ca²⁺ exchanger to the site of persistent inflammation in nociceptive afferents” by Nicole N. Scheff and Michael S. Gold, which appeared on pages 8423–8432 of the June 3, 2015 issue, an incorrect composition of the “Na-free” bath solution used in the experiments was provided. The authors apologize for the oversight. The correct composition was as follows (in mm): 130 Choline-Cl or LiCl, 3 KCl, 2.5 CaCl₂, 0.6 MgCl₂, 10 HEPES, 10 glucose, pH 7.4, osmolality 325 mOsm. This correction does not affect the conclusions of the paper. The text has been corrected on the online PDF version.
