Erratum: In the article “Best1 Is a Gene Regulated by Nerve Injury and Required for Ca2+-Activated Cl− Current Expression in Axotomized Sensory Neurons” by Mathieu Boudes, Chamroeun Sar, Aurélie Menigoz, Cécile Hilaire, Marie O. Péquignot, Alexei Kozlenkov, Alan Marmorstein, Patrick Carroll, Jean Valmier, and Frédérique Scamps, which appeared on pages 10063–10071 of the August 12, 2009 issue, there was an error. The illustrations of Best1 and Best3 gene expression by in situ hybridization (Fig. 1C and Fig. 4C) are erroneous because of the use of incorrect probes. These images and all discussion of them in the article should be disregarded. These data were mainly confirmatory of real-time PCR showing the increase in Best1 and Best3 transcripts and of electrophysiological experiments on cultured neurons showing the functional consequences of Best1 and Best3 on endogenous CaCC expressed in medium and large axotomized sensory neurons. As such, this error has no consequences for the main conclusions of the article.
