Correction: In the article “Missorting of Tau in Neurons Causes Degeneration of Synapses That Can Be Rescued by the Kinase MARK2/Par-1” by Edda Thies and Eva-Maria Mandelkow, which appeared on pages 2896–2907 of the March 14, 2007 issue, the term Par-1 was incorrectly defined as “protease-activated receptor 1,” when in fact it is an established term and should have been retained without an explanation.
