Dis altered apoptosis markers. Western blot analysis was carried out to evaluate the protein expression levels of Bax and Bcl-2. Results indicate that 100 mg/kg of Dis induces apoptosis through activation of Bax and inhibition of Bcl-2. β-Actin served as a loading control.
