* We determined the food source by combining foods purchased at groceries, convenience stores, or supermarkets and products made at home into one category (home) and combining ready-to-eat food obtained at school and other sources, such as restaurants and fast food establishments, into another category (away from home). ** For saturated fats and total sugars, we calculated the percentage of calories that each of these nutrients contributed to the total daily calories of each food source.
