What is regressive autism and why does it occur? Is it the consequence of multi-systemic dysfunction affecting the elimination of heavy metals and the ability to regulate neural temperature?

Regarding the review article titled "What is regressive autism and why does it occur? Is it the consequence of multi-systemic dysfunction affecting the elimination of heavy metals and the ability to regulate neural temperature?", published in the North American Journal of Medical Sciences, on pages 28-47, Issue 2, Volume 1, 2009[1], serious content related issues have been brought to the attention of the publisher. However, under current circumstances, we are unable to conclude an investigation that would confirm those issues. As a result, the North American Journal of Medical Sciences, following best practice guidelines established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), is issuing this expression of serious concern regarding the integrity of the reported research and results.
