Incorrect Language in Figure and Text

In the USPSTF Recommendation Statement entitled “Screening for Hepatitis B Virus Infection in Pregnant Women: US Preventive Services Task Force Reaffirmation Recommendation Statement,”¹ published in the July 23-30, 2019, issue of JAMA, language was incorrect in a figure and in the text. The third sentence of the “Treatment and Interventions” section in Figure 2 and the third sentence of the “Treatment” subsection of the “Clinical Considerations” section in the text should have read: “For infants born to mothers who test positive for HBsAg, current guidelines for case management include HBV vaccination and HBIG prophylaxis within 12 hours of birth and completing the vaccine series and serologic testing for infection and immunity at age 9 to 12 months.” This article was corrected online.
