AKT protein expression in MCF-7 cells. Cells were treated with media (untreated), free AKT siRNA, and CA/AKT siRNA formed with 3 mM of CaCl2 and 1 nM siRNA for 44 h. Cellular lysates were resolved by SDS-PAGE and transferred in PVDF membrane followed by incubation with primary antibodies raised in rabbit against AKT. HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody was used to detect the chemiluminescent signals.
