Erratum for “Potential impact of the digestible indispensable amino acid score as a measure of protein quality on dietary regulations and health.” Nutrition Reviews 2017; 75(8): 658–667.

Due to a typesetter error, the following sentences were published incorrectly online.

“If a food contributes 10%–19.9% or ≥20% of the DV for protein, the food qualifies for a claim that the food is a “source” and a “high source” of protein, respectively”

“In Canada, foods qualify for “source” and “high source” protein claims if their protein ratings are ≥20 and ≥40, respectively”

These sentences should read:

“If a food contributes 10%–19.9% or ≥20% of the DV for protein, the food qualifies for a claim that the food is a “good source” and an “excellent source” of protein, respectively”

“In Canada, foods qualify for “good source” and “excellent source” protein claims if their protein ratings are ≥20 and ≥40, respectively”

These sentences have been updated online and in print. The publisher regrets these errors.
