Erratum

In “Genital C. trachomatis infections clear more slowly in men than women” by J. Lewis et al. [J Infect Dis. 2017; 216:237–244. doi: 10.1093/infdis/jix283] the authors report an error on page 3. The paragraph that begins “The posterior mean for the proportion of infections in the faster-clearing category was 0.677” should read as “The posterior mean for the proportion of infections in the slower-clearing category was 0.677”.

The authors regret this error.
