Correction for Scarisbrick et al., Nervous System-Specific Expression of a Novel Serine Protease: Regulation in the Adult Rat Spinal Cord by Excitotoxic Injury

PMCID: PMC6792906

Correction: In the article “Nervous System-Specific Expression of a Novel Serine Protease: Regulation in the Adult Rat Spinal Cord by Excitotoxic Injury,” by Isobel A. Scarisbrick, Melvin D. Towner, and Paul J. Isackson, which appeared on pages 8156–8168 of the November 1, 1997 issue, the authors would like to correct four nucleotides in the sequence of myelencephalon-specific protease (MSP) in Figure 1. The nucleotide changes are 790C to T, 816 T to G, 817G to T, and 874C to G. These changes result in two amino acid changes: 211V to G and 230N to K. There are consequently two amino acid changes for rat MSP in Figure 2: 206V to G and 225N to K.
