In the Original Investigation entitled “Switching to Another SSRI or to Venlafaxine With or Without Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Adolescents With SSRI-Resistant Depression: the TORDIA Randomized Controlled Trial,” published in the February 27, 2008, issue of JAMA,1 the coding used for the Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire-Jr was incorrect. The scale ranges from 0 to 6; we had coded the scores on a scale from 1 to 7, which inflated the total scores. The resulting means, CIs, and cut point for clinical significance were incorrect. The data in Table 1, the Results section, and Table 4 were affected, but the errors did not affect the conclusions or interpretations of the study. A letter of explanation has been published2 and this article has been corrected online.
