Figure 2. The figure shows the tentorium cerebelli, the falx cerebri and other portions of the skull. The tentorium cerebelli is located in the posterior cranial fossa; it is a semi-circular transverse septum covering the cerebellum, with occipital lobes of the cerebral hemispheres lying on it .
