In the article by Hibender et al, which appeared in the August 2016 issue of the journal (Arterioscler Thromb Vasc Biol. 2016;36:1618–1626. DOI: 10.1161/ATVBAHA.116.307841), a correction was needed.
In the Figure 6 legend, panel D description, a word was erroneously deleted. The corrected sentence reads as follows: “D, Resveratrol downregulates miR-29b in SMCs in an endothelial cell–dependent manner, probably via enhancing NF-κB signaling, resulting in decreased SMC apoptosis.”
The publisher apologizes for the error.
