Parliamentary testimony from John Newton was misquoted. On page 966, the quote beginning at the end of the first column should read:

“We are very clear that this is just one of the figures that we have used, and there are plenty more. We say what really matters is the evidence underlying this figure from the Nutt report.”⁶ [emphasis added]
