Results are expressed as Means ± SD for five animals per group. The means of body weight of experimental animals within respective columns followed by superscript of a similar lower-case letter (such as [a & ab], [b, ab & bc], [c, bc & cd] or [d, cd]) are not significantly different from each other (p > 0.01). However, in each column, means followed by superscripts of different lower-case letter (such as a, b, c & d) are significantly different from each other (p ≤ 0.01). Inferential statistics were performed using One way-ANOVA to test for statistical differences among studied groups. Tukey's post hoc test was then done for pairwise separation and comparison of means.
