Corrigendum

PMCID: PMC6963685  PMID: 29474528

Erratum for Matthews CE et al. Accelerometer-measured dose-response for physical activity, sedentary time, and mortality in US adults. Am J Clin Nutr 2016;104:1424–32.

On page 1427 of the above article, the labels and the threshold cut-points for the ActGraph accelerometer data in Table 1 were incorrect. The data for “Moderate (760 ≥ AC < 2020), h/d” and for “Vigorous (AC ≥ 2020” should both be labeled as “Moderate-vigorous”, and they represent 2 different ways of estimating moderate-vigorous activity minutes. A corrected table is provided below.

1Values in parentheses are 1 SE, prevalence data are given in percentages, and estimates for age and BMI are means. All estimates are adjusted to account for the complex survey design. AC, activity count.

2Percentage; SE in parentheses (all such values).

3Mean; SE in brackets (all such values).

4Valid Wear Days are days with ≥10 h of valid wear time. Valid wear time is 24 h minus nonwear time, with nonwear time defined as an interval of ≥60 min with allowance for 1–2 min of AC between 0 and 100 on days with ≥10 h of wear.
