Résumé
L’éthique de la santé publique (ESP) a connu un essor important durant les dix dernières années. Malgré la pertinence de l’ESP, son intégration dans les connaissances, les pratiques et les productions en santé publique tarde à se faire. Selon nous, le manque d’intégration de l’ESP dans les pratiques et productions de santé publique peut être compris comme un problème de transfert de connaissances (TC). Dans cet article, nous décrivons brièvement les modes d’intégration existants et leurs limites. Nous explorons ensuite la littérature en TC de manière à voir dans quelle mesure la recherche dans ce domaine présente des pistes de solution au problème qui nous occupe; elle souligne l’importance, d’une part, de l’adaptation des connaissances et outils aux besoins et aux contextes de pratique des utilisateurs et, d’autre part, du caractère personnel et continu des interactions entre les acteurs, dans une perspective de coproduction. Nous concluons qu’il serait avantageux pour les organisations de santé publique de pouvoir compter sur la présence et l’expertise d’un courtier de connaissance en éthique et de construire, à partir des cadres existants et en partenariat avec les utilisateurs, des outils de réflexion éthique qui leur permettraient enfin de réaliser cette intégration.

Abstract
Public Health Ethics (PHE) has grown significantly during the past decade. Despite PHE’s relevance, its integration into public health practices, resources, activities and knowledge is lacking. In our view, this lack of integration can be understood as a problem of knowledge transfer (KT). In this article, we briefly describe existing knowledge integration methods and their limitations for PHE. We then explore the KT literature to underline how recent research in this area presents possible solutions to the problem before us. The proposed solutions stress the importance, first, of adapting knowledge and tools to the needs of users and the context of their practice, and, second, of recognizing the personal, continual nature of interactions between actors. We conclude that it would be beneficial to public health organizations to count on the presence and expertise of PHE knowledge brokers in order to build, in partnership with knowledge users, tools that will allow them to achieve PHE integration in public health practices, resources, activities and knowledge.
