Effect of IL-18Rα on the accumulation of inflammation cells in the synovium after collagen-induced arthritis (CIA). No CD4⁺ T cells or F4/80⁺ cells were observed in the WT or IL-18Rα KO mice without immunization (C,G: n = 3). On days 4 and 14 after lipopolysaccharide (LPS) injection, there were more CD4⁺ T cells and F4/80⁺ cells (indicated by red arrows at high power, ×400) in the WT mice (A,E: n = 10) than in the IL-18Rα KO mice (B,F: n = 15).
