When the above article was first published online, the following errors were committed:

  • The first author on the published article is Ming-Shan Chang and the corresponding author is in the last of this list which is Chien-Liang Chen. The Corresponding author requested to exchange place with the first author due to the request of his University that the lead author should be first in the list and also in trying for promotion, the number of papers for which he is either first or second or corresponding author do count, and the promotion committee takes notes of the bibliography.

  • The sequence of the affiliation were also changed from “1 Division of Nephrology, Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, Kaohsiung, Taiwan; 2 Department of Neurology, Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Chang Gung University College of Medicine, Kaohsiung, Taiwan; 3 Department of Medicine, Chung Shan Medical University, Taichung City, Taiwan; 4 Department of Medicine, National Yang-Ming University School of Medicine, Taipei, Taiwan” to “1 Division of Nephrology, Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, Kaohsiung, Taiwan; 2 Department of Medicine, National Yang-Ming University School of Medicine, Taipei, Taiwan; 3 Department of Neurology, Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Chang Gung University College of Medicine, Kaohsiung, Taiwan; 4 Department of Medicine, Chung Shan Medical University, Taichung City, Taiwan”

These have now been corrected in the online version.
