The book “Ten Years of Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina” of author Izet Masic, founder and current President of Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also a good introduction to AMNuBiH, from the time when this important scientific Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina established in the year 2009 till 2019 when Academy celebrated its 10th years of Anniversary. In this book readers can find all important facts about events organized with AMNuBiH in the past, also bioskatchs of 33 actual members fo Academy, their published book, monographs and chapters in books, and finally, all necessary documents about Academy from founding time till now.
Although the title emphasizes the Academy members of AMNuBiH the book does more. It describes the history and development of AMNuBiH, its role and objectives, its “Days of AMNuBiH”, organized by Academy in the past and Seminars and Workshops, internationally recognized, especially about Science Editing (SWEP 2016 and SWEP 2018) when editors of very important medical journals printing in SouthEastern Europe countries have participated, and, also, were editors of those journals adopted “Sarajevo Declaration on Integrity and Visibility Scholarly Publications”. This document is now recognizable in the academic and scientific community with proposed rules and proposals on how to write, prepare and publish scientific papers in biomedical publications. In the book are described, also, facts about the official scientific journals of AMNuBiH: Medical Archives, Materia Socio-Medica and Acta Informatica Medica, as official journals of AMNuBiH. Photos of all 33 members of Academy are included in this book.

Compact information about AMNuBiH in the form of a publication was lacking during the first ten years of its existence. This publication has now changed the scene and has put the Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the limelight. Readers can find a lot of important information about the development of medical sciences through presentations of bio-bibliographical facts of AMNuBiH members but also looking at all other documents and facts presented in the book. To the author of this interesting book, academician Izet Masic, founder and President of Academy has to be congratulated with this achievement.
