Summary

Electron-microscopic investigations of condyloma acuminatum in the area of female genitals are reported.

The identification of virus particles in the cytoplasma of the epithelial cells was possible. Volume, localisation and microscopic morphology of the discovered corpuscles make propable that, the causative organismus of condyloma acuminatum are not identical with those of verruca vulgaris.
