Reason for withdrawal from publication

August 2007 
 The 'Amniotomy for shortening spontaneous labour' review was withdrawn from Issue 3, 2006 of The Cochrane Library because it was out‐of‐date.

A new review team have prepared and published a new review with the same title in Issue 4, 2007 of The Cochrane Library following the publication of an updated protocol to help update the original publication.

The editorial group responsible for this previously published document have withdrawn it from publication.
