We recently described a 26-year-old patient with presumptive coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) who presented with a facial eruption that had a distinctly violaceous color typical of pernio.1 We now report that, 2 months after the onset of signs and clinical manifestations, the patient underwent a COVID-19 antibody assay, and it was positive, thus confirming the presumptive clinical diagnosis of COVID-19.
