
Hariharan Regunath, MD, MSMA member since 2019, is the new Editorial Board Member for Infectious Disease. Dr. Regunath practices Critical Care Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Pulmonary Disease at the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Medicine/MU Health Care. He replaces Eden Esguerra, MD, whom the Journal thanks for her service on the Board since 2011. Dr. Esguerra has been honored with the Missouri Medicine Distinguished Service Award.

Evan Schwarz, MD, has been named the Editorial Board member for a new medical specialty: Toxicology & Addiction Medicine. Dr. Schwarz, MSMA member since 2014, is a board certified physician in Emergency, Toxicology, and Addiction Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.
Missouri Medicine regretfully reports the death of internationally-known former Editorial Board member for Allergy and Immunology, Chitra Dinakar, MD. The Journal would also like to thank the following MSMA Section leaders for serving on the 2019–2020 Editorial Board and welcome their 2020–2021 replacements: Medical Student Section: Calli Morris, BS (departing), Alex Shimony, BS (new); Resident & Fellow Section: Frances Mei Hardin, MD (continuing); Young Physicians Section: Fola Fasuyi, MD (departing), Marc Mendelsohn, MD (new); and Women Physicians Section Joanne Loethen, MD (continuing).

Keith Bonacquisti, MD, recently joined Lake Regional ENT and Audiology. MSMA is proud to have Dr. Bonacquisti, as one of our newest members.

Stuart Braverman, MD, of Sedalia, has been a steadfast supporter of MSMA since 1992. MSMA applauds Dr. Braverman’s recognition by the University of Missouri School of Medicine as the recipient of the Rural Track - Distinguished Community Based Faculty Award.

Congratulations to Patrick B. Harr, MD, MSMA member since 1976, on receiving the honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Northwest Missouri State University. Dr. Harr is a valuable asset to his community and to MSMA.

Luke Small, MD, recently joined Saint Francis Healthcare System’s Cape ENT Group and is also a new member to MSMA.

Jeffrey Tedrow, MD, is now providing family practice care at Katy Trail Community Health in Warsaw. Dr. Tedrow has been an MSMA member since 1983.
