Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 117, 7011–7020).

The authors note that the author contributions footnote appeared incorrectly. Emiliano Fratini should be credited with performing the research. Luciano Pensabene Buemi and Maria Laura Petruzzellis should not be credited with performing the research; Maria Laura Petruzzellis should be credited with preparing the mock-ups and performing the applicative tests on Pollock’s artworks, and Luciano Pensabene Buemi should be credited with performing the applicative tests on Pollock’s artworks and performing the cleaning treatments. All authors should be credited with writing the paper. The corrected author contributions footnote appears below.
