Cánovas, L. M. Corrochano, S. Doyle, E. U. Selker, S. Seiler, Ö. Bayram (GENETICS 212: 691–710) entitled “Control of Development, Secondary Metabolism and Light-Dependent Carotenoid Biosynthesis by the Velvet Complex of Neurospora crassa,” on p. 695 in Figure 1B (lower panel), a duplicate colony image of wild-type (WT) strain grown in the darkness was erroneously included for the velBΔ (^pgpdA::ve-2) complementation strain. Figure 1B has now been corrected and appears below. This correction does not alter the article’s conclusions.
