Correction to “Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of Novel Piperidinyl Tetrahydrothieno[2,3-c]isoquinolines and Related Heterocycles”

There were errors in Schemes 1 and 2 in the original manuscript. In Scheme 1, the chemical structure of compound 4 contained the wrong CO group.

In Scheme 2, derivatives 7a–c should be corrected as follows:

• 7b: Ar= C₆H₄(NO₂)-p instead of C₆H₅(-NO₂)-p

• 7a: Ar= C₆H₅ instead of C₆H₅–CHO

• 7c: Ar= C₆H₄(OCH₃)-p instead of C₆H₅(OCH₃)-p

Also in Scheme 2: the direction of arrow from compound 6 to 7 should be from compounds 5a,b to compound 7.
