I thank the author of this commentary, as I happen to share its views and “go beyond”, in reference to what has been classically called “meta‐physics”. In fact, the main purpose of the opinion article I wrote was to prompt some cross‐communication among people with very different educational and cultural backgrounds, specifically scientists and philosophers. Schrödinger's book has some obvious limitations, both in the way it has been written and read. I would direct interested readers to other parts of the article, such as those related to the multiple forms of Aristotelian's causality and, more fundamentally, Karl Jasper's and Bergson's notions (or attempted glimpses) of ever baffling and encompassing “being”.
