Ebara's Fluid Machinery & Systems segment sales fell 3.2% to ¥149.3 billion, impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Fluid Machinery & Systems segment income was ¥8.2 billion, up 54.3% on last year's ¥5.3 billion, while orders received were down 7.1% to ¥150.3 billion.

In the Pumps business, some projects have been delayed or postponed in oil and gas markets due to the spread of Covid-19 and the decline in crude oil prices. The volume of Ebara's water infrastructure orders was down on last year, while electric power orders were unchanged.
