Retraction “Advances in drug therapy for mitochondrial diseases”

The article entitled “Advances in drug therapy for mitochondrial diseases”, published in the Issue 1, Vol. 8 of Annals of Translational Medicine (1) is being retracted on the ground of plagiarism of the article titled “Therapies of mitochondrial diseases and current clinical trials” published in the Issue 3, Vol. 122 of Molecular Genetics and Metabolism (2). The editors and publisher have confirmed the retraction of this paper at the request of the authors and guest editor of the focused issue “Neurological Diseases”. All authors apologize for the misconduct due to the scientific negligence.
