It has come to the attention of the authors that corrections are needed in this paper. The e-cigarette dependence measure referred to as the PROMIS-E in the published manuscript was derived from the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System® (PROMIS®) tobacco dependence bank. However, the PROMIS-E is not an official PROMIS measure and is not included in the measures made available by PROMIS under the HealthMeasures.net research resource; the PROMIS-E had not undergone the official review process to be adopted as a PROMIS measure. As such, the measure included in the current study should be referred to as the E-cigarette Dependence Scale (EDS). The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
