Successful deletion was verified by PCR using two independent primer pairs indicated by purple and red arrowheads. c) Extracellular Wingless and Distal-less expression in control (w1118) and SwimKO wing discs. Neither is altered upon SWIM deletion. Scale bars represent 50μm. d) Extracellular Wingless is reduced in clones lacking both Dlp and Dally (marked by the absence of GFP (white arrowheads).
