In the originally published version of this article, “sodium thioglycolate (96.5%) (Sigma-Aldrich, cat#T0632)” is listed as a reagent, which is incorrect. It should read “Brewer thioglycolate medium (Sigma-Aldrich, cat#B2551)”.
