In the article by Razavi et al, “American Heart Association EPI|Lifestyle Scientific Sessions: 2020 Meeting Highlights,” which published online on June 1, 2020, and appeared in the June 16, 2020 issue of the journal, (J Am Heart Assoc. 2020;9:e017252. DOI: 10.1161/JAHA.120.017252.), an error occurred.
On page 6, in the section Disparities and Social Determinants of Cardiometabolic Health, in the sentence “The third and fourth abstract presentations were delivered by Dr Jewel Scott, research fellow at Duke University School of Nursing, and Dr Nilay Shah, chair of healthcare policy and research at the Mayo Clinic, who discussed the impact of social networks on cardiovascular health in black and South Asian populations, respectively,” the authors have identified the incorrect Dr Nilay Shah. The fourth abstract presentation was given by Dr Nilay S. Shah, a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University.
The authors regret the error.
