BT-474 and PC3 cells were incubated in the presence (10 μM) or absence of SAHA or compounds 7cf, ij for 24 h. Subsequently, mRNA was extracted, and real-time PCR (qPCR) was performed. Data are expressed as the mean ± SD of the genes/GAPDH, using the normalized ratio of triplicate determinations for mRNA from at least two different experiments. Vehicle-treated cells were arbitrarily given a value of one. * p < 0.05 vs. vehicle.
