We thank the authors for their response to our article entitled: “Historical Development, Applications and Advances in Materials Used in Spectacle Lenses and Contact Lenses.”
Lens materials is a fascinating and dynamic field. Evolving research using emerging technologies has a vital role in improving patient comfort and vision. If adopted, the coatings mentioned in the letter will be a welcome complement to the current range of contact lens materials and coatings.
