In the article by Lu et al. entitled “Hypomagnesemia and Short-Term Mortality in Elderly Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients” [Kidney Dis. 2020;6:109–18, DOI: 10.1159/0000504601], an error occurred in the section “Association of Baseline Serum Mg Categories with Mortality” on page 111. Instead of “As shown in Table 3, Mg concentration was a significant independent predictor of mortality (HR 0.269, 95% CI 0.079–0.918, p = 0.036) in addition to age, BMI, the presence of diabetes, and spKt/V.”, the sentence should read as follows:
“As shown in Table 3, Mg concentration was a significant predictor of mortality (HR 0.017, 95% CI 0.002–0.197, p = 0.001) in addition to age, BMI, the presence of diabetes, and Kt/V.”
